
Nottingham love to shop
Shop-alcoholics, you're in luck! Nottingham has a good reputation in terms of retail therapy, and no doubt there are plenty to choose from. You'll find all the big chains and fashion boutiques along with boutiques, designer shops and second hand markets.
You took a cup of coffee and is raring to go! The first place to visit is the Victoria Centre in the heart of the city. Hockley Village, next to the Lace Market, and has been dubbed as the response of a Soho Nottingham, so you'll find a great mix of new age shops, antique houses, art shops and cinemas. It has not always been so elegant without however. He is most famous for being the birthplace of Sir Jesse Boot, founder of Boots the Chemist, born in poverty here in the mid-nineteenth century.
For a shopping experience more boots on the ground, Mansfield Road is a riot of colorful international restaurants and takeaways, costume shops, second place hand bookshops and record stores.
