No shopping in London, street markets esp?

This question is directed to the local population and tourists who have gone to London, I would go there and want to know more about shopping, especially in street markets. As a guide, it would be nice if you could tell me the opening hours / When is the best day to visit, so the place is sold, the price range, location, and I personally liked it and stuff, especially if you could give examples of good things you've bought there (: I'm interested in women's clothing and accessories (whether of small things new and old) and small ornaments and fun. No major designer brands like Gucci or anything, however. Please do not copy anything on Wikipedia or any other website and paste here, I know what you think. Thanks for your help: D

My three favorite London Markets – First there is no market at Portobello Road in Notting Hill. To get there you have the option of two underground stations: Ladbroke Grove (Hammersmith & City) or Notting Hill Gate, which is in the Central, Circle and District lines. In either stations there are many signs to guide you to the market. The market is open 8:00 to 6:30 pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 8:00-1:00 Thursday and 8:00-6:30 on Saturdays. The market is best known for its antiques and skills the knick, but do not be fooled by this reputation. On Saturday you can find almost anything in the world here. There are stalls selling souvenirs, clothing, fresh produce, candy, nuts, antiques, collectibles, jewelry and much, much more. Prices range from a standing position so it is nice to look around before buy. The market is huge and very busy on Saturdays to arrive early and give you a couple of hours. You can not only find the items you're looking for in this market, but you can also get some fresh produce and make some cheap meals to stretch their travel budget. I like this market because of the variety of items sold and the possibility of good business. I also like to explore this area of Notting Hill, while I am in the market and visiting coffee shops, fish and chip places and bookstores. A great part of town. Secondly I would recommend Camden Lock Market in Camden Town, which is open 7 days a week from 10am to 6pm. To get Take the Northern Line to Camden Town. I was always told that Monday is a great day for this market, although I've been several times on different days and not noticed a big difference. http://www.camdenlockmarket.com is a great resource for information about the market and distributors. I really like this market because it is so eccentric! Camden Town can be a little intimidating if you are a tourist conservative, but still a must. Great things are sold here are clothing, accessories, home furnishings for home, souvenirs, art and music / movies. Finally there is Petticoat Lane Market, which is probably your best stop for clothing. This market is located in Middlesex Street and Wentworth Street and can be reached by any of Aldgate East, Aldgate and Liverpool Street underground stations. The market is open Monday to Friday 10am-2: 30pm and Sunday 9-2. Shopping For any other needs just take the tube to Oxford Circus and Bank Street and walk through the many different shops of Oxford Street!
