Want to start a business of Ebay, the details contained in my question. Help me?
I want to start a business on eBay. I want to buy designer clothing, (Ambercrombie and other brands), electronics (computers, MP3 players. IPods, laptops) or directly factorys bulk at a price of discount (such as retailers do) and then retail them in my eBay store for retail prices. I mean for stores iPODs, clothing, CDs, computers DVD, game consoles and X-Boxes suppliers and then sell retail and profit. So how can I do the same thing? I want to learn to do this. Can someone explain this to me? I do not want to use a company pays to do this for me I do all the ordering and shipping myself.
unless you a lot of money starting or going to take a large loan so I doubt that will store different (unlike the brand of clothing and electronics), or least the 1st company of a store can buy in bulk, as very probably much more money than you. when you buy in bulk, the more you buy the more the price is cheaper per unit. However, they have to inflate the price to pay for rent, storage, slaray employees, benefits, etc. .. if you are the only person to turn their eBay business, then you only have to pay yourself and you will most likely be running and storage outside the home. its a good thing you do not want to pay a company to do the ordering and shipping to you, even buying a wholesale list is a scam to sell a product, the key is to buy low and sell expensive. you need a product that people want, but not many people are selling. Unfortunately the path of electronic clothing can not be the best route to take. search on eBay and seeing how many people are selling it. Tonnes which means that the market is saturated and is difficult to get into it. if theirs tons of competiton then prices are driven down and people tend to go with who is the lowest and is best known (the time I have been with ebay, number of votes, etc. ..). now I'm not trying to discourage you, you definitely can make it work I know it will just be a lil more difficult than you probably think. anyway to purchase products at a cheap price you need to find a wholesale company. Do not pay for a list of wholesalers theres many places online that say they'll give you a list for office. with a little effort you can find a wholesaler for FREE. any type of product you sell, say iPod knowing that makes the product (the manufacturer) for iPod it would be apple. Apple called to ask about creating an account to purchase them wholesale. 95% chance they will say no. its ok to ask your wholesaler ie to obtain the contact number / address / fax and ask about buying wholesale from them. that wasn't too hard and it was free anyway be prepared to provide proof that you have a wholesale company, a business card, business licenses, federal state tax identification, etc.. I think not yet they sell things cheap land to anyone, right? has a greater need real tax ID to sell things in bulk if you dont risk of losing their business license. and many of these so-called "wholesale" on the internet that arent really not asking wholesalers are the middlemen for Jack the price. i call a wholesaler last week and they wouldnt even give me an appointment until I faxed my tax ID card and federal tax ID go here http://www.irs.ustreas.gov/businesses/small/article/0,, id = 98,350.00. html to look for a state tax ID status of your state comptroller public accounts that the government wants to remember their taxes anyway once you have all that and a few quotes on wholesale prices, then need to go to eBay and see similar items for sale. you have to be competitive and sell at the same price or lower, but is also there to make a profit. then calculate many of the items you have to buy to sell at a competitive price and still make a profit. again remember to buy more cheaper the unit price. but the bad thing is if you buy a large quantity of a product that doesn't sell you're stuck with it and suffer a loss there too.
