I'm superficial if only I look better in my clothes with designer labels?

All of this came when I noticed a very cool looking pair tennis shoes at Wal Mart with the exception of the generic label side. I realized that the only thing that keeps me from buying them was the generic label and now I feel stupid about it. I am a 34 year old thats still behaves like a child at school that had to have a fresh pair of $ 100.00 Nike. I'm keeping my youth through a check mark in a fucking shoe? I feel like a square, papaya, or "hanging" in no shoes brand. Does anyone relate? I feel its just a hang up and realize I could by 5 pairs of shoes for the cheapest price to pay for one.

Then you have OCD and probably related to a defensive mechanism subconcsious to help deal with doubt and anxiety and make you feel like you are in control.
